Tag and Release is where a fish is Tagged by inserting a small orange tag into the back of the fish in the dorsal Fin area with a Serial Number which corresponds to details of the fish in terms of estimated size, where it was caught and by whom. These records are kept by the billfish foundation and when a fish is re-caught the tag is returned prompting a reward and the fishes file is updated, Go to www.billfish.org for full details.
