Social Responsibility Program

Medina Palms is providing much needed employment opportunities during the construction phase of approximately two years. It is estimated that more than 200 jobs will be created, and over 70% of these will be for local people, such as labourers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, security, supervisors, specialist craftsmen, technicians and engineers. It is recognised that for every one job that created, a family of 6-8 people can be supported. During construction many local businesses will be provided with trading opportunities to supply goods and services, creating many community economic benefits. We have a Corporate Responsibility Officer who liaises with a Community Committee to discuss related issues as part of our commitment to the local community.
