The Born Free Foundation
Medina Palms has teamed up with The Born Free Foundation to support a number of community based wildlife conservation projects in Kenya. The first is to deliver improved protection for marine turtles in partnership with the Local Ocean Trust in Watamu. The second is to support Born Free's Pride of Kenya initiative and, in particular, the building of lion-proof bomas in rural communities. And, the third is to support the Mwalunganje Elephant Sanctuary, a community project not far from the coast.
