The Rwanda Development Board’s Investment Roundtable was recently held in Kigali, where the Medina Palms presentation was shown at the Amani Holdings conference stand. Amani Holdings have been appointed by Medina Palms as their representatives in Rwanda.

Nigel G Rowley, Managing Director of Medina Palms greets Haile Gebrselassie in Nairobi on a recent visit. Gebrselassie, the 36-year-old Ethiopian marathon runner won the Berlin Marathon last September in a record breaking time of two hours and four minutes and easily bettered his previous time of 2hr 4min 26sec.

The development of the water sports centre at Medina Palms is coming on nicely. The centre will be offering a vast range of water sports activities from Kitesurfing to Paddle boarding. We are looking forward to sunset paddles down Mida Creek as much as you.

The rental market for villas and private homes in Watamu for this current holiday season 2008/2009 has been the best in terms of return on owners’ investment since 2003. Although bookings only really started to take off during July of 2008, the momentum soon gathered pace to achieve an increase of 25% on the previous season in terms of the number of bookings taken.
